Ah, I'm not so good at figuring out what to say about myself. I am Asch |D This is a pretty new online alias, previously I was going by satori for seven years. I guess I don't really mind going by satori still, but I just wanted a change and I ♥ Asch. Asch is actually a character from the PS2 game Tales of the Abyss, which is my third favourite game of all time, more so than any Final Fantasy even.

Let's see. I'm twenty-one years old, I am biologically female although you'll see me putting my gender down as neutral half the time. I live at home with my mother and my two cats in Memphis, TN, USA. I have dropped out of college twice now, the first time due to mental health reasons and the second time due to financial reasons. I don't currently have a job although I have been trying all summer to find one.

As for my interests, I am really into video games. I have been playing ever since I got a nintendo when I was about four, and a sega not too long after that. I still have every console I've ever gotten, and all of them work except for the sega, which finally gave up the ghost about three or four years ago. I discovered rpgs with Final Fantasy IX and immediately fell in love with them ♥ (Though my first rpg was actually Earthbound on the snes, unless you want to count the first zelda, which I don't). My favourite game of all time is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, followed closely by Earthbound, and then Tales of the Abyss. I also really enjoy Tales of Symphonia, Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy X, Okami, Okage, Chrono Trigger, and nearly all the main Zelda games with the exception of Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. That game is horrible >/ OH AND I HATE WIND WAKER WITH A FIERY PASSION WORST FUCKING GAME EVER.

Before this gets too tl;dr, other things I enjoy are anime, manga, languages, writing, reading, books, fandom, slash, and livejournal. Like video games, I have also been reading since I was four :P I like murder mysteries, horror, and fantasy, though I'll read nearly anything except for romance, wild west, and sci-fi without a large amount of fantasy elements. I have been into anime and manga since I was thirteen, fandom since I was fourteen. I have been writing since I was seven, though when I got into fandom I pretty much began to write only fanfiction, because I have discovered that's what I like writing best. As far as fandom goes, I like angst and romance, though again, I'll read almost anything. As for language, I like a lot of asian languages, and have been studying japanese since I was fourteen. I'm still really not that great at it XD

I got into online tcgs when a livejournal friend of mine advertised a new one on livejournal that was just starting up. Before that, I hadn't even known online tcgs existed, much less free ones. My only tcg experience before that was Pokemon cards back in the pokemon craze, and I was so attached to them I couldn't bear to trade them once I bought them xD So after about a month of playing the livejournal tcg, I decided to start looking around elsewhere online for some more video game oriented ones, especially final fantasy as the lj one didn't have much in the way of that (it still doesn't).

I finally managed to find a few to join that had both card designs I liked and card decks I wanted to collect. But since one of them didn't allow you to use a livejournal post for them, I had to create a website for all the cards. Originally, it was named Encased after a pre-made layout I was using, as the title of that layout was Encased and I was too lazy to think up my own |D But finally I changed it to a word I actually liked, so now it is Luminosity.
